Parallel is hiring a designer to help build the next gen hiring platform. You will be designing the product that will empower start ups to discover & hire better people for their open roles, the #1 most important task of any company. The role will involve owning overall design system management, product design direction, core product feature design, marking and landing page design, and working with the engineering team on implementation and iterations. This role is a 70% core product design and 30% brand design role. Looking for a designer that loves ambiguity, autonomy, and wants to build magic in the hiring space. You will have the ability to basically set and influence the overall visual direction of the brand & product.

• Passion and desire to solve the core hiring problems of early stage companies
• Design beautiful & compelling experiences from pre built product documents in notion
• Loves to collaborate on product thinking and how to solve software problems the most minimal way possible.
• High craft in Figma to built UI specs with proper component structure.
• UI animation work is a big benefit

Create landing pages & marketing materials

• Ability to design compelling marketing landing pages
• Understand brand design systems and brand principles

Work directly with the engineering team on implementation

• Engineering reviews & feedback
• Provide red lines, and screenshots for the team to adjust & match specs
• Collaborate with the engineering team on product solves for various features
