POSITION SUMMARY:

The Junior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the finance team, including maintenance of reports, reconciliation and variance analysis. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a career in finance. This position has potential for growth with increased responsibility and visibility and a chance to learn about non-profit finance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage existing suite of monthly financial reports
  • Maintain financial/reporting databases
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Other related duties as required and assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance or economics
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting policies, practices, and systems
  • Preferred of 1-2 years of financial analysis
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Comfortable working within databases
  • Ability to provide meaningful financial analysis and reconcile variances
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extremely detail oriented with ability to multi-task
  • Active team player and works well under pressure
  • Works well independently with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proactively recognizes and addresses challenges
This is a temporary, full time position with the opportunity to become regular.
