Whatcom Land Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting wildlife habitat, scenic, agricultural, and open space lands in Whatcom County. They employ a three-pronged strategy that includes securing land through purchases and easements, engaging the community in conservation efforts, and restoring degraded habitats. With over 26,894 acres protected and 18 parks established, they have a strong market position and community support, evidenced by their 450 volunteers and ongoing projects that enhance biodiversity and ecosystem health.
